Salt Water Taffy Bar

By Tracy Carpenter
taffy

One of the best parts of any a party is the candy! Who doesn’t love arriving to a great big piñata or handmade goodie bags with sweet treats jam-packed inside? For a recent Little Golden Book baby shower, I planned for a dear friend, I put together a taffy bar for guest to chew on during the festivities, but also bag up and take home. This is one of the simplest things you can do, and rather inexpensive, to fill a space at a party!

I grabbed this amazing, rotating, galvanized organizer and turned it into a salt water taffy bar! If you don’t have something like this, you can use fun glass vases, wide mouth buckets, bins, or cups of any kind or size. Depending on how many guests, how much candy, and how big your space is will determine your needs. Next, I got a bunch of taffy from WinCo, but you can also grab candy at any local candy or party store. I finished the candy bar with vintage metal cups for scooping and little brown bags for stuffing! So easy you could do it!
